!!! ACTION ALERT
– STOP THE RELEASE OF
GUANTANAMO “ENEMY COMBATANTS” !!!

Dear Sosticewitch13 ,

Would you like to have any of these men living in
your community? Near your family?

  • Ramzi Bin al-Shibh, who al
Qaeda’s military commander called a “highly professional
    jihadist”

  • Walid Bin Attash, who survived
a suicide bombing attack against a U.S. embassy in
    Africa

  • Gouled Hassan Dourad, leader of
the al Qaeda terrorist cell in Djibouti

With President Obama’s Executive
Order closing the Guantanamo Bay detention facility, the very real
possibility exists that ruthless, cold-blooded terrorists like these will
be moved to facilities in the continental United States. Why? Because they
are so dangerous no other countries want them!!

There is also
discussion in Washington about releasing some of the detainees on American
soil – and then providing them tax-paid public assistance benefits!!

WE’RE SURE YOU AGREE – THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!

Opposition is
building to these proposals, both in Congress and at the grassroots. We
need you to take action TODAY to let our elected officials know that we
OPPOSE transferring or releasing any of the Guantanamo detainees
into America.

ACTION ITEM #1

our petition to Congress entitled:

“We Oppose
the Release of ANY Guantanamo Facility Detainee into the United States and
Providing Any Tax-Paid Public Benefits to Any Detainee”

Please sign this petition right away, and then follow the
directions at the bottom of the petition to forward it to everyone you
know! We need to get as many people as possible to sign this petition
right away!

It only takes a few moments to
add your name to
our petition and then forward it on to your friends and family. They need
to know there are plans being discussed in Washington to transfer and even
release many of these dangerous enemy combatants on to American soil. Give
them the chance to add their voices to yours by forwarding our petition on
to them as soon as you have signed it.

Lisa Piraneo, our Director
of Government Relations, will then deliver this petition to the
appropriate congressional leaders.

ACTION ITEM #2

Contact your U.S. Representative and urge him
or her to support both of these bills:

  • H.R. 2294, the “Keep Terrorists
Out of America Act.” This bill would require that no detainee could be
released or transferred to a state without the approval of that state’s
    governor or legislature.

  • H.R. 2338, the “No Welfare for
Terrorists Act.” This bill would prohibit any Guantanamo detainee
released into the United States from receiving any federal, state or
    local public benefits.

You can contact your U.S.
Representative by phone, fax or email. Please
contact information for your Representative.

Together we can
protect our communities from these enemies of America and put a stop to
the absurdity of rewarding terrorism with the doling out of tax-paid
public benefits. A petition with tens of thousands of names, and thousands
of calls, faxes and emails, will send an unmistakably loud and clear
message to Congress. So please ACT today!!
