Perhaps you’ve wondered, is giving to ACT! for America a good investment? After all, there are a lot of organizations and campaigns asking for financial support these days. That’s a fair question—and one we’re delighted to answer! Thinking from a business perspective, what kind of “return on investment” does ACT! for America provide to those who support our work?    ACT! for America is the only organization combating the threat of radical Islam with the size and reach we have. We now have over 235,000 members, 700 local chapters, and 40,000 Facebook followers. We have eyes and ears across America, and our influence is being felt from the local community to the halls of Congress.    This is why no other organization can claim the string of victories and successes we can over the past two years. Here are just a few.    Passage of ALAC (American Laws for American Courts) legislation in Tennessee, Arizona and Kansas.    Passage of resolutions opposing sharia law in four state Republican Party platforms.    Passage of bills in Tennessee that beef up the state’s anti-terrorism provisions, change the refugee resettlement process, and protect authors from intimidation lawsuits.    ACT! for America chapters and members spearheaded the successful effort to stop the transfer of Guantanamo Bay detainees to Standish, Michigan.    ACT! for America chapter leaders, in three states, worked together to expose an online jihadist, who was subsequently arrested by the FBI.    ACT! for America chapter leaders and members have been meeting with education officials across America to educate them on what is in the ACT! for America Education report “Education or Indoctrination: The Treatment of Islam in 6th through 12th Grade American Textbooks.”    ACT! for America has become a respected and influential presence on Capitol Hill, thanks to our strategic approach, the size of our grassroots organization, and the work of our full-time lobbyist. As a result, nearly a dozen and a half Members of Congress have agreed to address our attendees at this week’s National Conference & Legislative Briefing.    Thanks to Brigitte Gabriel’s presence in the media, ACT! for America enjoys unsurpassed exposure on news and talk TV and radio shows across America. For instance, in a six-month period in 2010, Ms. Gabriel gave over 200 media interviews on the Ground Zero Mosque.    ACT! for America continues to launch strategic projects and programs that are putting the proponents of radical Islam on the defensive. For instance, later this year, should we achieve our Spring Pledge Drive goals, we plan on launching “The Thin Blue Line Project,” an online resource for law enforcement professionals.
