ACT! FOR CANADA NEWSLETTER - JULY 27, 2012

Shabnam Assadollahi and Shadi Paveh, two brave Canadian-Iranian freedom fighters, have this to say to their detractors:

It is called having your cake and eating it too!
Some Iranians (including some refugees who fled Iran from the IRI) in Canada who have close ties with Iran and their families in that country reprimand us for our call for closing the embassy of Iran. They say a few activists do not represent the Iranian community and the embassy of Iran must remain open! But somehow they do not see the whole picture and don't realize that it's all about protecting Canada and the safety of Canadians and not about them travelling to Iran.

To those Iranians who want the presence of the IRI embassy in Canada: We are not speaking on behalf of Iranians in Canada.  We are speaking as activists who have been watching the Iranian regime use diplomatic platforms in order to perpetuate violence around the world. If you are an Iranian looking for your standing to be protected in the world, it should not be as an Iranian immigrant who sits idly by while the embassy of her country harms innocent people around the world. And as an Iranian- Canadian human rights activist, we should say that we would have hoped that you would want to be seen as a person who would respect her new country's rule of law. Apparently you would take your own convenience as a primary motive vs. all the above mentioned concerns.”

ACT! for Canada thanks Shabnam and Shadi for loving this country so much and being loyal and patriotic citizens.

Louis Gohmert in Congress – A MUST WATCH

Congressman Louis Gohmert is one of the five Members of Congress asking for investigations into whether the Muslim Brotherhood has positioned itself within high levels of our federal government.

Justice Department official refuses to promise that DoJ will never advance proposal to criminalize speech against any religion

The non-committal answer by Perez was in response to a question asked by Rep. Trent Frank (R-AZ): “Will you tell us here today that this Administration’s Department of Justice will never entertain or advance a proposal that criminalizes speech against any religion?”

THOUGHTS ON THE LONDON OLYMPICS
 AND THE SHAMEFUL IOC

Now why would the London Olympics require the largest military build up in the UK since WWII? Who are they concerned about? Would it be the Amish? Maybe it's all 8 of those Christian Abortion clinic bombers. Perhaps they are worried that the Jehovah's Witnesses are going to hand up millions of copies of "The Watchtower". Perhaps they are concerned that militant Jewish Rabbis might perform a circumcision. Could it be that the massively expensive military buildup is out of concern that the Hindus will refuse to eat meat? Maybe a group of Buddhists will all start meditating. Imagine the anarchy that would cause. I just don't understand it. All cultures are equal and all religions are equally bad. So surely it can't be... Islam? I mean, it's not like the authorities have arrested several Muslim groups who were planning attacks in advance. Okay, so maybe they did. But it's not like any Muslim clerics made any threats. Oh yeah, they did. Okay, but when have Muslims ever interfered with the Olympics? I mean, how "Islamophobic" to even have to bring this up. Just because in 1972 Muslims killed several members of the Israeli wrestling team, and the terrorists were greeted as heroes when they returned to the Islamic theocracies they came from... It's not like acts of Jihad are all that common. Sometimes there are only a few in a given week. I mean, what are the odds that Devout Muslims would even want to strike a giant crowd of Westerners all assembled in one place anyway? Islam is the religion of peace.
Eric Allen Bell

Bravo to Michael Coren and Sun News Media who remembered the Israeli athletes:

“A minute of silence refused.
 A lifetime of shame achieved.”

This segment of the opening ceremonies was cut from North American viewing - the BBC paid tribute to the 52 victims of the July 7 attack in London, just after they had been named as the host of the 2012 Olympics.
