Another ALAC victory!

We’re pleased to report that North Carolina is the latest state to pass ALAC (American Laws for American Courts). That’s one more state that now prohibits judges from applying foreign law if doing so infringes on the constitutional rights of any party in a case.

Last September, a Kansas judge refused to countenance sharia law in a case, citing the ALAC legislation we helped pass in that state.

And once again, ACT! for America played a key grassroots role in getting ALAC passed, this time in North Carolina.

Regardless of where you live, ALAC is a win for you as well as for the people in North Carolina. With every state that passes ALAC, the momentum builds for more states to do so.
