'I Don't Know These Groups!' Imam Claims to be Unaware of al-Qaeda, ISIS
Imam Muhammad Siddeeq, of the Nur-Allah Islamic Center, claimed to be unaware of al-Qaeda when asked by Sean Hannity:
HANNITY: Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Qaeda, ISIL—you agree with me, they’re all terror groups right?
IMAM MUHAMMAD SIDDEEQ: I don’t know these groups.
HANNITY: You don’t know anything about them? You don’t follow the news?
IMAM MUHAMMAD SIDDEEQ: I know Rabbi Sigmund, I know Kiera Luped, I know Imam Watersadeen Muhammed, I know the work of the late John Paul.
HANNITY: Wait, wait—slow down—is Al Qaeda a terror group?
IMAM MUHAMMAD SIDDEEQ: I don’t know Al Qaeda.
An incredulous Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, founder of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, responded:
JASSER: We need a 12 step program for the denial of dealing with the ideology – it’s not just violence. We always want to blame others that we are somehow victims, and I will tell you what Sean. Even in my own mosque here in Arizona, they talked about me being the problem, Fox News being the problem and didn’t talk about ISIS, Hamas. And we always want to blame the other. This is why America sees Muslims as silent. Because we are not dealing with the drug. The gateway drug of ISIS is not their violence, it is the Islamic State, the fact that they want to implement a supremacist doctrine that we need to reform.
