We’re living in a world where the World Health Organization has to tell people to stop drinking camel urine because once upon a time, Mohammed advised drinking camel urine as a cure. (Then he murdered the people who drank it because that’s how Islam works.)

During the summer, WHO warned the Saudis to stop drinking camel urine. Now it’s warning ISIS sponsor Qatar.
On 12 and 23 October 2014, WHO was notified by the National IHR Focal Point of Qatar of 2 cases of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV). These are the first cases reported to WHO by Qatar in 2014…
Food hygiene practices should be observed. People should avoid drinking raw camel milk or camel urine, or eating meat that has not been properly cooked.
The cases in Qatar all seem to involve contact with camels. Health authorities have warned Saudis and Qataris to avoid unprotected contact with camels.
Infection prevention and control measures in all health facilities have been re-enforced by Qatar’s Supreme Council of Health (SCH). Furthermore, the SCH, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, is investigating the camels in the two barns.
Meanwhile there are six new MERS cases in Saudi Arabia. There are spikes of MERS near Mecca. And there’s now a MERS case in Qatar’s partner in crime, Turkey.

Considering how many Jihadis come out of the Gulf states to join ISIS and Turkey’s role as a route to ISIS, this may well indicate that ISIS is a vector for MERS.

How fitting.
