The Religion for the ‘Mentally Ill’

With so much “mental illness,” in our midst, it might be time to rethink our immigration policies…

There is a new rule in the fantasyland of political correctness: “lone wolf” equals “mentally ill.”
Each time there is a terror attack, whether it is perpetrated by a “lone wolf” jihadist or multiple jihadists with ties to “official” terror groups like ISIS or Al Qaeda, there will always be an “expert” offering an opinion. This will be paired with the typical apologetic rhetoric from both the media and politicians on how the terror has nothing to do with Islam, the religion everyone knows is “the religion of peace,” holding no accountability whatsoever for the nearly 25,000 Islamic terror attacks which have occurred worldwide since that fateful day on September 11, 2001.

A new case, a new lone wolf “mentally ill” terrorist in Australia. Man Haron Monis held 17 people hostage in the Lindt Chocolate Cafe in Sydney in a siege lasting over 16 hours and ending in a gun battle with police. Three people have died, including the assailant, but before the nightmare was over, social media was already inundated with solidarity for the Muslim people from Australians offering support with the #illridewithyou campaign. Aussies have participated in the campaign out of fear of a “backlash” against Muslims due to the siege and “anti-Islamism”, despite the fact that it is not the average Australian who is a threat but the Muslim terrorist.

So a terrorist perpetrates an attack, and everyone rushes to protect the terrorist’s people , rather than putting forth the same concern for those who have become the targets of jihad, i.e., the general population.

Now there are multiple articles on mental illness and its part in this rampage with experts aplenty. Why? Because it was a “lone wolf” attack.

For argument’s sake, let’s say Man Haron Monis was mentally ill. He forced hostages to hold up the black flag of jihad in the window of the cafe during the siege and was a self-proclaimed sheikh.

Mentally ill or not, his inspiration was Islam. He made it painfully clear with the display of the flag, the attack was in the name of his religion. Why else display the flag? It’s a no-brainer.

The Sydney Morning Herald also made a point during the hostage crisis to explain that the black flag is merely a flag with the Shahada, expressing Islamic faith:

“From national security correspondent David Wroe: The flag being shown in the window is not an Islamic State flag, nor one for the other best-known jihadist group Jabhat al-Nusra. Rather, it appears to be a Shahada flag, which represents a general expression of faith in Islam, though has been co-opted by various jihadist groups.”

Indeed, various Muslim groups have condemned the attack, however, this flag is also known as the black flag of jihad, and that Islamic faith is the same faith terrorists share with all Muslims. It is faith in a religion which calls for violence against the infidels, and we are those infidels. To suppose that terrorists have “hijacked” the flag is just playing semantics. Terror groups like ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hamas and Boko Haram are religious Muslims, and they hold up the flag as a symbol of their faith, no different than any Christian with a cross. The difference is what that faith means.

To these “mentally ill” lone wolves, it is the inspiration to commit violence against us.

Other recent lone wolf attacks include the two attacks in Canada in October when two soldiers were murdered in separate attacks, the hatchet attack on New York City police officers the same month, and the Oklahoma beheading and additional beheading of an elderly woman in the UK, both in September. After each attack, some expert brings up “mental illness.”

Counter-terror police are thwarting terror plots every day. Whether they are specifically linked to terror groups or are inspired by those groups or Islam itself, if each Islamic terrorist is “mentally ill,” Islam appears to be the religion of “mental illness” as it is leading its followers to murder.

If each pious Muslim, who demonstrates his faith through violent means, emulating his prophet, is mentally ill, then the nearly 25,000 terror attacks since 9/11 must also have been perpetrated by the mentally ill. Last week alone the “mentally ill” were responsible for over 500 dead bodies and 800 more critically injured. This “mental illness” is really becoming a serious problem. Yet the immigration of the “mentally ill” to the West continues to rise, and their terror attacks against us are becoming more widespread.

Maybe- just maybe- rather than excuse the violence based on “mental illness”, we might look instead to the religious doctrine which calls to “kill the unbelievers” and to “strike off the heads” of the infidels.

Hey, it’s just a thought.
