I’m surprised it wasn’t an essay contest on how Global Warming causes terrorism or how Transophobia causes Global Warming. But any excuse to embed more Islamic propaganda into a vital educational institution.
Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey has established an essay competition to honor the late Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Pentagon announced Monday.
The competition, to be hosted at the National Defense University over the next academic year, will focus on issues related to the Arab and Muslim worlds, according to the official DOD News.
“This is an important opportunity to honor the memory of the king, while also fostering scholarly research on the Arab-Muslim world, and I can think of no better home for such an initiative than NDU,” Dempsey said in a statement.
No better home? What about Saudi Arabia? Isn’t that the place that’s supposed to be naming a whole bunch of things after a dead tyrant?

Maybe we can have some essays on the International Islamic Relief Organization and its ties to Al Qaeda. No? I assume more essays on “countering violent extremism” by promoting real Islam while claiming that ISIS is a nihilistic un-Islamic cult. The Saudis do get what they pay for. Unlike us.
