UANI Resource on Ayatollah Khamenei's Anti-Americanism
New York, NY - Today, United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) is releasing a resource on the anti-American worldview of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, the ultimate political authority in Iran.
On Friday, The Wall Street Journal reported that Khamenei recently sent a letter to President Obama responding to the President's written message from October 2014. Obama's attempt to engage the Supreme Leader in personal correspondence dates back to his first few months in office in 2009.
Although Khamenei's letter has been characterized as "respectful," Khamenei's virulent anti-Americanism is well-documented and will certainly impact the prospects of reaching a durable, comprehensive nuclear deal with Iran, or a normalization of relations between the U.S. and Iran.

United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) is a program of the American Coalition Against Nuclear Iran, Inc., a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Objectives of United Against Nuclear Iran
- Inform the public about the nature of the Iranian regime, including its desire and intent to possess nuclear weapons, as well as Iran's role as a state sponsor of global terrorism, and a major violator of human rights at home and abroad;
- Heighten awareness nationally and internationally about the danger that a nuclear armed Iran poses to the region and the world;
