Remembering the Armenian Genocide

Remembering the
Armenian Genocide

A century ago today, one of the greatest tragedies of the 20th century began. Across the Ottoman Empire — the state which had grown from Muhammad’s conquest of the Arabian peninsula — Armenian intellectuals were rounded up to be killed.

They were the first victims, but they were by no means the last, as I explain in a new video released today. You can watch it by clicking the image below.

Now, as a new caliphate attempts to rise in the Middle East, we are faced with a new slaughter. The Islamic State, Boko Haram, al Shabaab, and their fellow travelers are in the early stages of a new genocide. This time, the targets are Christians and Jews in the Middle East.

Slowly but surely, these barbarians are killing all who refuse to renounce their faith and submit to their murderous new regime.

The world's indifference to the Ottoman Empire’s actions against the Armenians emboldened the Nazis to begin the Holocaust. Genocide must be stopped, not only because it saves lives now, but also because it stops genocides in the future.

Today, we remember all those Christian Armenians who lost their lives.
Today, we call for action to stop the ongoing massacres in the Middle East.
Today, we renew our pledge: Never Again.

Sincerely,

Brigitte Gabriel
