Clip of Mike Huckabee: If the President is not going to stand up with a number one duty of protecting the American public then I'd like to think that the Republicans that we elected to be in the majority would stand up for the safety and security of the American people. Paul Ryan is the speaker, he can defund this program. He can make sure that the purse strings are never unleashed for it and I think it's important that he take that stand both visibly, vocally and even financially.

Hoekstra: U.S. Needs to Arm, Support Kurds in ISIS Fight

November 18, 2015  •  KRSO radio FacebookTwitter
Host: The success of a small group of terrorists has essentially taken down the third most powerful military in the world. Of course we're talking about what happened in France after Islamic terrorists just went through all of Paris shooting and killing. It was a nightmare. Joining us on the KRSO live line is former congressman from Michigan and author of Architects of Disaster: The Destruction of Libya, Pete Hoekstra. And we had him on our show a couple of weeks ago pretty much warning us about what we see today. Pete, thanks so much for joining us again.

Hoekstra: Vetting Syrian Refugees Poses Unparalleled Challenges

by Pete Hoekstra  •  November 17, 2015  •  Rick Jensen radio show, WDEL FacebookTwitter
Rick Jensen: Liberals who believe the Paris attacks were caused by U.S. conservative rhetoric, oh yeah, just read Salon.com, AlterNet, Huffington Post, they do, caused by U.S. conservative rhetoric, they're telling you that the Syrian refugees in the U.S. will be thoroughly vetted, so don't you worry about Islamic State terrorists slipping in, like at least one did in Paris. Obama says, quote, 'thoroughly vetted.' Really? I think you, the Jensen Show listener, deserves to hear from someone who actually knows the process. Shillman Senior Fellow with the Investigative Project on Terrorism and former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, former Representative Pete Hoekstra is on the phone from Michigan. Pete thanks for being on, sir.
