ICYMI: UANI Video Aimed at Companies Considering Business with Iran Premieres on Morning Joe

CEOs of BP, Fiat Chrysler, and other leading businesses receive the video message as part of an integrated global awareness campaign

New York, NY - To mark the one year anniversary of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) premiered a new video highlighting the extensive significant risks facing those in the global business community who contemplate engaging in business with Iran. The video was broadcast during MSNBC's Morning Joe on July 14 to underscore the fact that one year into the nuclear deal, Iran's behavior has not become more responsible, nor has its business environment become less threatening.

In addition to the national television premiere, UANI has sent the video to the CEOs of dozens of leading companies around the world that have either entered or expressed interest in entering the Iranian market. UANI has previously contacted these CEOs by letter as part of its worldwide awareness and education campaign. They include global giants such as Royal Dutch Shell, BP, Fiat Chrysler, and Renault. The multimedia effort represents the latest phase of UANI's integrated campaign.

Included in its JCPOA anniversary efforts, UANI launched a new resource center on its website this week that documents and showcases the ongoing business risks and extremist behavior of the Iranian regime.

UANI also played a key role in the international debate on the anniversary of the JCPOA, with its experts being quoted extensively by global media outlets, including in Politico, the Washington Post, and the leading Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera. UANI CEO Ambassador Mark D. Wallace also penned an op-ed in TIME entitled, "Why Companies Should Not Do Business With Iran," and UANI Advisory Board Member and former Italian Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi wrote in The Hill about the unchanged nature of the Iranian regime.
