UANI Campaign Calls on Iranian Officials to Renounce
"Death to America" Slogan

Iran (UANI) today announced the launch of an advertising
campaign surrounding this year's opening of the United Nations
General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
The campaign includes dozens of kiosk
ads surrounding the United Nations Headquarters, ads running on
125 New York City taxi
cabs, and geo-targeted digital
ads serving millions of impressions in the area. The ads
demand that when Iranian leaders, namely President Hassan Rouhani and
Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, are in New York, they renounce Iran's
hateful "Death to America" slogan. The kiosk ads, through a
QR barcode that smartphones can scan on the posters, and the digital
ads link to a petition page
to hold Iranian leaders accountable.
The ads
underscore the fact that "Death to America" is not just
empty rhetoric, but means Death to Americans. As the world's leading
state sponsor of terrorism, the Iranian regime is responsible
for the deaths of more than 1,000 American soldiers and
civilians-not to mention scores of others worldwide.
Speaking today
before the UN for the first time since the implementation of the
Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nuclear agreement, Iranian
President Hassan Rouhani will claim that Iran is a leading opponent of
extremism and advocate of moderation. That notion is of course
outlandish, as the regime harbors Al Qaeda
operatives, enables Bashar al-Assad's slaughter in
Syria, collaborates
with North Korea on nuclear and ballistic missile development, victimizes
its own population and neighbors, and embraces "Death
to America" as its motto.
