Trudeau Government Building “Refugee Camp” For Illegal Border Crossers

Trudeau Government Building “Refugee Camp” For Illegal Border Crossers

The taxpayer-funded camp will be built in Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle, Quebec.

The Trudeau government is building a “refugee camp” on the Canada – U.S. border, as their weak policies continue to encourage a growing influx.

Current facilities are already being overcrowded and overwhelmed, and the camp will hold 500 people to relieve the pressure.
According to a report, “The announcement comes as authorities struggle to handle a surge in people coming to Quebec at unofficial crossings such Roxham Road. The RCMP has already set up a tent at the crossing to deal with the arrivals.”

As of now, there are 700 people who crossed illegally at Roxham Road now waiting for their asylum applications to be processed.

This is just the beginning if policies don’t change

If the Trudeau government continues their weak border policy, the influx will continue, the cost to Canadian taxpayers will rise, and the system will be overwhelmed even further.

We know that if the government sent a clear message that all who crossed illegally would be deported to their original countries, the influx would be reduced dramatically.
Of course, that would require Trudeau to actually show respect for Canada’s borders and Canada’s laws – something that’s been entirely absent from his time in power.
